Isuzu Group Foundation Creates Educational Opportunities for Thai Youth Nationwide, Awarding Over 6 Million Baht in Scholarships

The Isuzu Group Foundation (IGF) continues its commitment to providing an "Educational Future" for capable underprivileged students. Aiming to encourage determined youth to continuously develop their potential across secondary, vocational, and higher education levels, the foundation organized a ceremony to award a total of 694 scholarships, worth a combined total of 6,090,000 Baht. This initiative aims to elevate the quality of life for these youths, helping them grow into important forces for society in the future.

Mr. Takashi Hata, President of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Isuzu Group Foundation, stated that "For more than 68 years, the Isuzu Group has been doing business in Thailand, guided by our corporate vision of the “Isuzu Spirit” -- that is, “deliver happiness, prosperity to users and contribute to society”, which is the backbone of our business operations. Our enduring success over the decades is due to the trust and great support of the Thai people. Therefore, we have consistently arranged various activities that benefit and add value to Thai society. With this strong commitment, the Isuzu Group Foundation was established in 1987, funded by three companies in the Isuzu Group — Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., Isuzu Motors Co. (Thailand), Ltd., and Isuzu Engine Manufacturing Co., (Thailand) Ltd.. The Foundation has carried out a wide range of social contribution activities, including educational support for students, the promotion of automotive technology, traffic accident prevention initiatives, as well as financial aid and donations of essential equipment to various public organizations for public benefit. With the commitment to being a “Good Corporate Citizen of Thai society,” we are dedicated to helping build a strong and sustainable foundation for the youth of Thailand.”

The IGF remains steadfast in continuing its scholarship project, recognizing education as a vital foundation for developing both individuals and society. This year, scholarships were awarded to 694 capable underprivileged students, totaling 6,090,000 Baht. These funds will help alleviate the burden of educational expenses, allowing youth to fully utilize their educational potential and pursue their dreams toward becoming vital forces for the nation. The IGF is ready to help build a strong and sustainable Thai society together.

I want to attend Silpakorn University, and this scholarship helps me let go of financial stress so I can fully focus on my studies and university entrance exams.
